ESSER III - Use of Funds Plan

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) has provided additional funds to the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund to address students' learning loss and to assist with reopening schools.  

After consulting with stakeholders, the Douglas County School District has developed and submitted the Use of Funds Plan - (link below).

Grants Information

The Grants Office is responsible for the management and oversight of all federal, state, and local grant funding in the District.  This includes competitive and formula-based grants along with categorical grants.  The Grants Office oversees fiscal requirements, programming compliance, and evaluation reporting on all grants.

McKinney-Vento:  Are you in transition? The term 'homeless children and youth' (students in transition) means individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.  

Title I-A:  The Title I Program provides assistance to eligible Title I schools so they may provide services and supports so their students will have the opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education and close any educational achievement gaps. 

Prospective Grant Form:  Douglas County School District Staff who want to pursue a grant opportunity must complete the Prospective Grant Proposal Form and submit to their supervisor for review prior to application.
